Job description

As a Territory Partnership Manager for Wales, you will lead the commercial strategy and customer success efforts across the region. This role focuses on building and nurturing relationships with Local Authorities and schools, securing long-term contracts, and driving the adoption of their EdTech solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders at every level, from Local Authorities and school leaders to the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) and Digital Advisory Group, aligning their offerings with education policy and digital priorities. This is a high-impact role where your efforts will directly influence the success of their products in Wales.

Key Responsibilities:
– Build and manage relationships across a large group of Welsh Local Authorities and their school networks.
– Drive commercial outcomes including contract renewals, upselling, retention, and customer satisfaction.
– Plan and execute territory strategies, managing a full sales pipeline and forecasting accurately.
– Engage with key stakeholders and influencers, including WLGA and Digital Advisory Group.
– Deliver pre-tender influence, manage competitive tendering processes, and secure contract wins.
– Act as the voice of the Welsh customer, informing internal teams on regional needs and legislation.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams (In-life support, Marketing, Product, Finance) to deliver value.

Requirements

– Proven experience in strategic sales, account management, or business development, ideally within EdTech or the public sector.
– Fluent Welsh speaker.
– Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
– Strong understanding of the Welsh education landscape, policy environment, and public procurement processes.
– Confident communicator with outstanding presentation and consultative selling skills.
– Commercially sharp with experience managing complex sales cycles and forecasting revenue.
