Senior Sales Manager – EdTech – MATs

This is a fully remote opportunity, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere whilst being a core part of a dynamic and supportive team. You will be taking over a well-established team of six direct reports who manage the largest Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) in the North, from the Midlands all the way up. All team members are experienced and a pleasure to work with.

What You’ll Be Doing:

– Leading and Developing: You’ll manage and coach a team of six sales professionals, driving them to exceed targets and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
– Strategic Planning: You’ll design and implement a strategic sales plan to grow both the customer base and existing revenue within the Education sector, specifically focusing on the largest MATs across the Midlands and the North.
– Driving Performance: You’ll ensure a robust sales pipeline by maintaining CRM rigour and using strong sales methodologies.
– Market Insight: You’ll stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends, identifying new market opportunities, and providing valuable feedback to product development teams.
– Building Relationships: You’ll build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customers, ensuring long-term success.

Requirements

We’re seeking a proven sales leader with a track record of success in a software/SaaS environment. You should be a mentor and a motivator, with the ability to inspire a team to new heights. Experience within the education or public sector would be a distinct advantage.

You should have:

– Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Team Leader in a software/SaaS business.
– Expertise in a recognised sales methodology (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, SPIN).
– Strong commercial acumen and the ability to present sales forecasts and strategies to senior management.
– Exceptional leadership, communication, and people management skills.
– The drive and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The Package:

Base Salary: Up to £65,000
On-Target Commission (OTC): £60,000 (uncapped)
Car Allowance: £4,800
Total OTE: £129,800
