Senior Sales Lead – EdTech

We have partnered exclusively with a high-growth EdTech company that is is looking for a commercially driven Senior Sales Lead to help drive the launch and growth of an exciting new offering focused on the GCSE / Key Stage 4 market across UK secondary schools and Multi-Academy Trusts.
 
This is a rare opportunity to join a business already trusted by a significant proportion of students across the UK and play a leading role in expanding into a major new area of the education market.
 
You’ll take ownership of new business growth across secondary schools and MATs, working closely with senior leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, refine messaging, and drive long-term commercial success.
 
The role combines strategic influence with hands-on sales execution and would suit somebody who enjoys building relationships, winning complex deals, and making a visible impact within a scaling organisation.

Job description

The Role

You will:

* Drive new customer acquisition across secondary schools and MATs
* Lead complex, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
* Help shape and execute growth strategy for a major new product launch
* Build relationships with school leaders, MAT executives, Heads of Department, and wider education stakeholders
* Support wider sales initiatives and contribute to team development
* Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Data teams
* Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline

Requirements

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Proven experience within EdTech, SaaS, or B2B sales into schools and education settings
* Strong experience selling into secondary schools, Key Stage 4 environments, MATs, or similarly complex public-sector organisations
* A track record of managing longer, consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
* Excellent commercial judgement and relationship-building skills
* The ability to operate as both a strategic sales lead and hands-on individual contributor
* A data-driven and organised approach to pipeline management

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:

* Strong MAT sales experience
* Solid B2B school sales experience
* Experience selling technology, software, or services into secondary schools
* An understanding of the GCSE / Key Stage 4 landscape
* Experience helping launch new products or enter new markets
