We’re working with a fast-growing education technology business on the search for a high-performing Senior Sales Executive to join their commercial team.

The opportunity

This role will focus on selling into English primary schools, secondary schools, and multi-academy trusts, managing the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to close. Alongside a regular flow of inbound opportunities, you’ll also be expected to proactively generate pipeline and build relationships across your territory.

It’s a role for someone who enjoys ownership, is commercially sharp, and is motivated by the chance to help scale a business with a strong mission and clear product-market fit.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of your pipeline and manage the full sales process end to end. You’ll be responsible for winning new customers, growing pipeline, exceeding revenue targets, and driving strong sales activity across your patch.

You’ll also work closely with the wider team to share market feedback, contribute ideas that strengthen the commercial approach, and help improve key performance metrics such as conversion rates, average deal size, and contract value. There is also an opportunity, as the business grows, to support onboarding and development of newer team members.

What they’re looking for

This role is likely to suit someone with 3 to 5+ years’ experience selling into English state schools or within the wider EdTech space. You’ll need a proven track record of exceeding quota, ideally with experience delivering £400k+ in annual revenue, and you should be comfortable generating your own pipeline rather than relying purely on inbound demand.

They’re looking for somebody energetic, credible, organised and commercially driven, who can build strong relationships both over the phone and in person. A background that includes SDR experience, or a closing role with strong prospecting expectations, would be particularly relevant.
