Their flagship software product is a unique, in-house-developed platform used by hundreds of schools, community centres, and local authorities across the UK. This is a business experiencing significant growth in a niche and important market.
The Role:
This is a senior position for an ambitious, sales-driven individual who thrives on the challenge of new business development. You will be instrumental in a key growth phase for the business, with a clear mission to significantly increase the number of schools and multi-academy trusts using the company’s best-in-class product.
You’ll be a true “hunter,” taking responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. This is a role for someone who is self-motivated, disciplined, and proactive, with the ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at schools and trusts.
Key Responsibilities:
– Self-generate new business opportunities through outbound sales and prospecting.
– Deliver compelling product demonstrations to school and trust leadership.
– Create persuasive business cases and proposals to secure new clients.
– Manage your pipeline effectively to meet and exceed sales targets.
– Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
– Proven experience in selling software within the education sector, specifically to multi-academy trusts (MATs).
– A verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
– A deep understanding of the business of education and the key challenges and opportunities within it.
– Existing relationships with key figures in the sector are a significant advantage.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and customer care skills.
– A proactive, resilient, and creative mindset.
What’s on Offer:
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
OTE: £70,000 – £75,000 (uncapped)
Benefits: A competitive package including a 10% non-contributory pension, private healthcare, and life assurance.
Location: This is a remote role, with occasional travel to clients and offices in London and The Midlands.
