Senior Account Executive – Financial Institutions

Are you a high-performing sales professional with a passion for education technology and a deep understanding of the financial services sector?   We are currently supporting a fast-growing, innovative EdTech company that is transforming early careers recruitment within the finance industry.   Their market-leading software product, which focuses on training, assessment, and recruitment for early careers, is gaining rapid traction among global financial institutions.   The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for developing and executing a high-performance sales strategy aimed at driving revenue growth and market penetration across EMEA and the US. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to build strategic relationships, expand market share, and promote the adoption of this ground-breaking training and assessment software.    

Job description

– Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to increase market share and drive revenue growth in the education technology sector.
– Act as an individual contributor within a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
– Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in graduate recruitment, early careers, and campus teams across EMEA and the US.
– Use Challenger-based sales techniques to drive customer acquisition and expand existing client accounts.
– Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and maximise customer satisfaction.
– Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and product enhancements.
– Monitor sales performance, report on key metrics, and adjust strategies to meet objectives.

Requirements

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring a strong SaaS sales background, ideally with experience in the education technology or financial services sectors. You’ll have:

– A minimum of 7 years of sales experience, including a proven track record in SaaS and financial technology sales.
– Established relationships with stakeholders in early careers recruitment, graduate recruitment, or campus teams within financial institutions.
– An in-depth understanding of the Finance and Banking sectors and the unique market position of education technology solutions in these fields.
– Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– A results-driven mindset, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and exceed sales quotas.
