Sales Manager – UK Schools & MATs

Job description

As Sales Manager for UK Schools & MATs, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding this organisation’s footprint across the independent, faith-based schools, and Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) sectors. This is a full-lifecycle role—from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and nurturing long-term relationships.

You’ll be joining at a pivotal growth stage and will play a hands-on role in shaping the sales strategy and engaging decision-makers at senior leadership level (Heads, DSLs, Bursars, etc.). Regular travel across the UK for school visits, meetings, and events is part of the role.

– Proactively identifying and engaging prospective schools and MATs
– Delivering compelling platform demos tailored to specific school needs
– Building strong, consultative relationships with school leaders
– Managing a full sales pipeline and driving deals from start to close
– Attending and networking at key education events and conferences
– Nurturing existing client accounts and identifying upsell opportunities
– Accurately forecasting, reporting and updating CRM (experience with Insightly, Salesforce, or similar ideal)

Requirements

– 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in EdTech, SaaS, or similar
– Experience selling into UK schools or MATs is a big advantage
– Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can influence and inspire
– Highly motivated, independent and organised—able to manage your own time and pipeline
– A consultative, problem-solving approach to sales
– Comfortable with travel and face-to-face client interaction (UK driving licence required)
– Genuine interest in education, well-being, and making a difference
