The Opportunity
You will lead a team responsible for selling SaaS solutions directly into schools and multi-academy trusts, combining new customer acquisition with growth across an established customer base.
This role would suit someone who enjoys developing sales teams, building structured sales processes, and driving consistent revenue performance in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
You will play a key role in shaping strategy, improving pipeline visibility, and strengthening relationships with education customers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead, coach and develop a team of sales professionals selling SaaS solutions to schools and multi-academy trusts
– Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and expansion within existing education customers
– Implement and execute strategic sales plans aligned to company growth objectives
– Maintain strong CRM discipline to ensure clear pipeline visibility and accurate forecasting
– Support the team in articulating the value of the organisation’s education software solutions
– Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders across the education sector
– Recruit, mentor and develop high-performing sales talent
– Present accurate forecasts and performance updates to senior leadership
– Stay close to trends within EdTech, schools and MAT procurement
Requirements
About You
– Proven experience leading SaaS or software sales teams
– Experience selling into schools, MATs or the wider education sector is highly desirable
– A track record of consistently delivering or exceeding revenue targets
– Strong knowledge of structured sales methodologies such as Sandler, Challenger, SPIN or Value Selling
– A natural leader with strong coaching and mentoring ability
– Commercially astute with strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline
– Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and decision makers within education
– Based south of Birmingham or willing to travel regularly for team meet-ups
Package
up to £70,000 base salary
£60,000 uncapped commission
£6,000 car allowance
