Sales Development Representative – EdTech – Schools

We are currently looking for a Sales Development Representative to join a leading EdTech SaaS company. As the Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving the growth of a range of innovative tools designed specifically for schools and MAT’s. Location – Remote – UK  

Job description

Your duties as the Sales Development Representative will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Researching and identifying prospects; contacting them and driving the sale.
2. Responding to inbound enquiries and following up with leads generated by various marketing programs.
3. Qualifying leads by identifying their needs and understanding their business, and ultimately closing the sale.
4. Engaging with existing customers, proactively helping them achieve their goals using our product; securing renewals and upsell opportunities.

Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Sales Development Representative, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Proven industry experience in sales or account management roles, preferably selling to schools.
2. A working knowledge and practical experience with CRM systems and cloud-based tools.
