Job description

The Opportunity

As Partnerships Director, you’ll be responsible for driving new business growth across the UK and Ireland Higher and Further Education sectors.

You’ll develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, build a high-quality sales pipeline, engage senior university stakeholders, and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through to contract negotiation and close.

Working closely with marketing, product, pre-sales and customer success teams, you’ll also represent the business at industry conferences and events, helping to build brand awareness and establish long-term strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute the UKI sales strategy to drive market growth.
* Generate and win new business within Higher and Further Education institutions.
* Build relationships with senior decision makers across universities and colleges.
* Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
* Deliver compelling, consultative product demonstrations and presentations.
* Lead responses to tenders and procurement opportunities.
* Collaborate with marketing, product and delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Represent the business at sector conferences and networking events.
* Stay up to date with developments across the UK Higher Education landscape.

Requirements

About You

You’ll ideally have:

* At least 8 years’ experience selling SaaS or EdTech solutions into UK Higher and/or Further Education.
* A proven track record of consistently exceeding new business targets.
* An established network of senior contacts across universities and colleges.
* Experience working within a fast-growing or scale-up technology business.
* Excellent consultative selling, presentation and negotiation skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build strategic partnerships.
* Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM.
* The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a global team.

Package

* Base salary in the region of £80,000
* Uncapped OTE of approximately £160,000
* Excellent benefits package
* Fully remote role with flexibility
* Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK
