Job description

The Role:

As the Partnerships Director, you will be responsible for spearheading the company’s growth across the UK and Ireland. Leveraging your extensive network and expertise, you will acquire new customers, drive strategic partnerships, and ultimately expand the company’s market share.

This is a quota-bearing new business sales role that requires a self-starter with exceptional discipline. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from strategic market planning and pipeline development to C-level engagement and deal closure.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and execute a GTM sales plan to grow market share in the UK and Ireland.
– Leverage your experience in a scale-up EdTech environment to quickly establish brand presence and market influence.
– Build and nurture pipeline of qualified opportunities​.
– Forge relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders within the Higher and Further Education sector.
– Lead the creation of winning proposals and manage the entire bid process for Invitations to Tender (ITTs).
– Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and solutions architecture, to deliver impactful product demonstrations and a unified customer experience.
– Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and associations.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

– A minimum of 8 years of quota-carrying new business sales experience in the Higher and Further Education sector.
– Proven success in a scale-up EdTech environment, with a strong track record of operating in a scale-up​.
– An existing network of business contacts and decision-makers within the UK and Ireland’s Higher and Further Education Sector. 
– Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
– A strategic thinker who can operate independently while working effectively with a global team.
– Experience with CRM systems, specifically HubSpot.
