Head of Sales – Education Technology (UK)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead and support the strategic vision of a leading EdTech organisation. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across key education sectors in the UK, including Primary, Local Authorities, Secondary, and Independent Schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales leader with experience in education technology, looking to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing sector.

Job description

*Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a competitive new business strategy for the UK market to ensure consistent growth and meet annual targets.
*Pipeline & Forecasting: Establish a robust pipeline and forecasting approach to enable the team to exceed sales targets consistently.
*Sales Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Managers to deliver high performance and achieve company goals.
*Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with the UK Sales Director and other key leaders to align sales strategies and KPIs with the company’s global objectives.
*Market Alignment: Work with the Marketing team to ensure that sales and marketing efforts are aligned to deliver results.
*Solution-Led Sales Approach: Foster a solution-led sales culture and ensure effective communication between sales teams and product development.
*Talent Management: Lead recruitment efforts and manage performance across the Field Sales team, including talent spotting, succession planning, and fostering leadership within the team.
*Product Feedback: Serve as the voice for new business, providing crucial feedback on product roadmap and development based on sales priorities.

Requirements

*Proven Leadership: A strong and humble leader with experience coaching and developing sales teams to achieve targets and drive business growth.
*Commercial Acumen: A track record of delivering sales growth in a highly commercial environment, preferably in the EdTech sector.
*Experience in Education Technology (preferred): Ideally, you will have experience in a senior sales management role within the education technology market.
*CRM Expertise: Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
*Degree or Equivalent Qualification is preferred.
