The role:
You’ll take ownership of the channels responsible for generating qualified pipeline for the sales team, including:
– SEO and organic acquisition
– Google Ads and paid search
– Paid social where appropriate
– Email marketing performance
– Conversion rate optimisation
– Website performance Event ROI
– Attribution and marketing reporting
– Testing and developing new acquisition channels
A major focus will be developing organic search into a meaningful and sustainable source of growth, covering content strategy, technical SEO and category search rankings.
You’ll also work closely with the wider marketing team on the future website rebuild, ensuring the site operates as an effective acquisition and conversion channel.
Requirements
What they’re looking for:
We’re particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:
– Previous demand generation or performance marketing experience within EdTech
– Strong hands-on SEO experience across both content and technical SEO
– Experience managing Google Ads and paid acquisition campaigns
– A good understanding of conversion optimisation and acquisition funnels
– Experience using data and attribution to understand which channels are creating genuine pipeline
– The ability to analyse campaign performance and make commercial decisions around marketing investment
– Experience working with HubSpot or similar marketing automation/CRM platforms
– A genuinely hands-on approach
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to purely manage agencies or set strategy from a distance. You’ll be comfortable getting into the detail, launching campaigns, analysing performance, optimising landing pages and testing new ideas yourself.
